Hamann, Ph.D.
Steven Hamann, Ph.D., is a physicist with six years of experience working
as a researcher in the field of optics.
Steven’s scientific background as a physicist is primarily in
the field of optics, combining atomic physics and quantum optics. His
experiments in quantum mechanics come under the heading of quantum state
preparation and control. From the perspective of a scientist, quantum
mechanics is one of the foundational theories that describe the nature
of reality.
Steven has a strong interest in the study of miracles and the divine
acting in our lives. His approach to this has been both as a scientist
and also a person of faith. He has applied his knowledge of physics
and experimental techniques to the study of miracles and believes that
logic and reason are powerful tools for increasing our understanding
of and connection to the divine.
Steven is a founding member of Siloam House, an intercessory prayer
and healing ministry in Tucson, Arizona. Steven has a strong interest
in spiritual gifts and advocates openness to them. He speaks about spiritual
gifts in public forums and in small group settings and has had discussions
and interviews with many people on this important topic as he continues
to explore. In particular, Steven has a strong interest in healing gifts,
his own and the healing gifts of others.
