Kathryn
A. Kelley, M.A., NCC, LPC, is a Nationally Certified Counselor
in private practice. She is a member in good standing with:
- National Board of Certified Counselors
- American Counseling Association
- State of Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners
- EMDR International Association, Certified
- Order of St. Benedict
- The Forge Institute
Kathryn combines her counseling practice with the art of spiritual
direction and is certified in both EMDR and Spiritual Direction. Kathryn
carefully and powerfully interweaves traditional therapy techniques
with EMDR for the treatment of post-traumatic stress and somatic conditions.
This highly effective approach is beneficial in enhancing performance
abilities for athletes, artists and business leaders who are motivated
to reach goals beyond their present competency.
Further, Kathryn utilizes Sacred and Transpersonal Psychology, the
Enneagram, dream analysis, the study of mysticism and the esoteric traditions
to create a centered and safe environment for the individual to explore
and grow in his or her own personal journey. Because of her own study
into the depths of all spiritual traditions and her own personal practice,
Kathryn believes that what is taught by all faiths is true: All is One.
Kathryn strongly believes that some of our physical health concerns
can be related to our psychological and/or spiritual health. She assists
individuals suffering from somatic conditions, reducing their physical
malaise while treating their emotional difficulties.
Kathryn’s advance training and practice includes:
EMDR – Certified EMDR therapist: Eye movement
Desensitization and Reprocessing is an effective tool used in partnership
with more conventional therapies to desensitize and reprocess emotional
suffering.
Bereavement: Clinical depression, disenfranchised
grief, seriously ill and dying patients, brief therapy in issues concerning
mourning and loss.
Success Motivation Coaching: Business coaching, empowerment
training, performance enhancement training and life improvement coaching.
Sacred Psychology: Trans-traditional and transpersonal
psychotherapy, mysticism, Jungian analysis, Enneagram, dream analysis,
esoteric traditions and the Labyrinth.
Spiritual Direction: Certified through two year study
program with the Order of Saint Benedict: a monastic community over
1,500 years old. Advanced training in ALL faith traditions. Kathryn
maintains her own spiritual meditation practice.
